Six Sentence Sunday



This is my first entry into the Six Sentence Sunday blog fun. It is an excerpt from my soon to be released novel Burn: All-American Vampires. The hero, Ty Buchanan, finds himself in a pretty tough predicament.


His thoughts were a jumbled mess of rage and vulnerability and hunger. The only thing that kept him from screaming madness was the body of the woman he held tight against him. He couldn't remember her name or why he was hurt so badly. He just knew that she was the only thing keeping him sane. He buried his hands in her hair and rode the tide of relief and agonizing desire that swept over him. He couldn't think past the moment and the warm blood flooding his mouth.
